BAKER CITY, Ore. -- Oregon State Police and transportation officials are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle that left the scene of a crash last week.

Police say the crash Thursday night knocked down a street sign and caused extensive damage to a guardrail on the eastbound on-ramp to Interstate 84 from Cedar Street, just north of Baker City.

Troopers believe the crash happened sometime between 10:00 and 11:00 Thursday night.

The vehicle may be a late 1980s or early 1990s Ford pickup and likely has extensive front damage, police said.

Anyone with information on the crash, the vehicle, or driver is asked to call Oregon State Police at (541) 523-5867.
