BOISE -- We're more than a week away from Black Friday, but looking at the line forming outside of Best Buy in Boise Thursday night, you'd think differently.

The dozen or so people lined up waiting for the midnight release of Microsoft's newest gaming console, the Xbox One.

KTVB talked to the first person in line, Devin Barnhart, who said he got there at 11:00 Thursday morning.

I thought there'd be a bunch of people here, but nobody here so I thought I might as well brave the cold and get one, said Barnhart.

Zane McCarty, who was also in line, said, I had a pre-order and canceled it foolishly and now I'm waiting in line.

Those who don't have a pre-order are hoping that there are extra game consoles when they get to the check-out after midnight.
