POCATELLO -- Officials with the Pocatello Regional Airport say the facility is losing its funding from the Transportation Security Administration.

The Idaho State Journal reports that the change means there won't be as many police at the eastern Idaho airport.

Airport manager David Allen says the TSA money was used to cover the cost of placing officers from the Pocatello Police Department at the airport to help screen passengers and carry out other duties. But he says most of those tasks can be done by non-law enforcement personnel.
