NEWPLYMOUTH, Idaho -- Interstate 84 westbound was blocked for about four hours after two semitrailers crashed just before 12 p.m.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened about 9 miles from the Oregon border. One semitrailer traveling eastbound toward Boise crossed the median and rolled in the westbound lanes.

Police say a second semi traveling westbound hit the back of the crashed trailer.

The driver of the semi that rolled was airlifted to a Boise hospital, and the other driver was taken by ambulance to an Ontario hospital.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
