BOISE -- The Boise State Bronco men's basketball team (19-12, 9-9) faces off against the San Jose State University Spartans (7-23, 1-17) at 8:00 p.m. MDT on Wednesday, March 12, at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Broncos are looking for their first win in the 2014 Mountain West Tournament. They are 1-5 in conference tournaments since winning the 2008 WAC Tournament Championship. Their first two years in the Mountain West, they have lost in the quarterfinals, both times to San Diego State University.

The winner of this game will take on University of Nevada, Reno on Thursday, March 13, at 9:30 p.m. MDT.

Boise State leads San Jose State 23-2, however they have never met in a conference tournament. Their last game, back on January 25, the Broncos beat the Spartans 76-55 at Taco Bell Arena. The first time, these two teams met was back on December 17, 1988 where the Broncos also beat the Spartans 72-65.
