GARDENCITY-- Officers searching for a man who tried to rob aSubway restaurant with a handgun Wednesday night have released surveillance photos of the robbery.

According to Garden City Police, the man walked into the Subway on Glenwood Street around 9 p.m.

However, they're not sure if he got away with any cash or other loot.

Officers say the store clerk ran out of the restaurant's back door when he saw the armed robber.

Police tell KTVBthey're hoping surveillance video from inside the store can help identify the suspect.

He's described as an adult male, about six-feet tall, wearing a bandanna over his face, along with a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Officers don't know whether the man walked on foot to the store, or drove in a car.
