BOISE -- Wednesday night, there were some fresh faces who believe can make a difference in the capitol city.

As many as eight candidates are running for Boise City Council.

The League of Women Voters held a forum Wednesday night at the Boise Library in Downtown Boise, and the candidates answered questions written by the audience.

There are just three seats open this term for city council.

Those running are:

City Council Member Seat #2

  • Ben Quintana
  • Tyler Smith

City Council Member Seat #3

  • Jill G. Humble
  • Bill Jarocki
  • TJ Thomson

City Council Member Seat #6

  • Paul Edmond Fortin
  • Maryanne Jordan
  • R. Bryce Petersen

Election Day is November 5, 2013, and winners are elected to four year terms.
