BOISE -- The blockbuster Broadway musical, 'Chicago' debuted at the Morrison Center on Friday night with a familiar face as the lead.

Emmy Award nominee, RC Willey spokesperson, and Broadway actress Paige Davis is performing in the role of Roxie Hart.

Despite being set in the 1920's Davis told KTVB that 'Chicago' is still relatable to today's generation.

I think people can really relate now because in this country we have this obsession with celebrity. We have this obsession with celebrities and becoming a celebrity, said Davis. And in many cases, people will do so at any expense and at all costs.

There will be a total of five shows at the Morrison Center through Sunday, and tickets are still available.
