BOISE -- Two teen have been arrested in connection with the vandalism of a west Boise building under construction.

The vandalism caused more than $240,000 in damage to the building on North Meeker Avenue back in May, police said.

On Thursday, Boise Police announced the arrests of two boys, both age 16. Police say both boys live near the construction site and that evidence at the scene lead investigators to the suspects.

Because of their age, the boys have not been identified. They are each charged with three felonies, including arson, malicious injury to property, and burglary.

Police say the vandals damaged walls, desks, and carpets using spray paint, glue and fire extinguishers. Construction blueprints were also set on fire.
