TWINFALLS -- A Twin Falls man with six previous DUIconvictions has been charged with a seventh after police say he attempted to elude officers before crashing into a power pole while driving drunk.

The Times-News reports that bond was set at $1 million dollars on Monday for 51-year-old Mark Cornelison.

According to the Twin Falls county deputy prosecutor, Cornelison's oldest DUI charge came in 1996 and his most recent was in 2007.

Twin Falls County Magistrate Judge Thomas Kershaw says he's never set a bond at $1 million, but says he didn't want Cornelison to get out of jail.
