BOISE -- On Saturday, people got a sneak peak at the cities of tomorrow at Boise State.

Middle-schoolers from across Idaho designed and built futuristic cities, with a theme of managing storm water pollution.

It's all a part of the Future City Competition, hosted by BSU's College of Engineering.

Seventh grader Aidan Ifflend helped design Pohan Kota, which is in Indonesia.

Basically, you live in a tree, and there's no ground. You also get around in schweebs, which are little bicycle pods, or little monorails. said Aiden.

The winner of the competition will represent the Idaho region at the National competition in Washington, D.C. next month.
