MERIDIAN-- There has been another report of a possible child enticement in the Treasure Valley.

Meridian Police Corporal Chris Figal say a man drove up to a group kids waiting at a bus stop around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Bear Creek subdivision and made some inappropriate comments. The man did not ask any children to get in his car and drove away as the school bus pulled up.

A boy told his parents about the incident and it was reported to police the next day.

Figal says the man is a white adult with reddish or brown hair, and clean shaven. He was driving a white sedan with a black interior.

According to the Meridian Police log, this incident happened at W. Cub Street and S. Ice Bear Way. That bus stop is for children attending Mary McPherson Elementary School and Christine Donnell School of the Arts.

Figal says parents should talk to their children about the danger of strangers, remind them to stay in groups and report any unusual activity to a bus driver or parent right away.

Meridian Police say this incident remains under investigation.

It comes around the same time that several child enticements have been reported in Nampa.
