BOISE -- The Ada County Commissioners are exercising a contractual option to collect nearly $2 million from Dynamis.

The county paid that money to Dynamis in 2010 to create a set of plans to build the waste-to-energy facility at the Hidden Hollow Landfill.

This Put Option allows the county to collect within 90 days.

This project has been controversial for its possible environmental impacts and whether the commission was transparent in their negotiations with Dynamis.

All three commissioners signed the letter agreeing to the payment deal.
