BOISE -- Boise Fire officials say Halloween decorations started a fire at the Grove Hotel.

Firefighters were called to the hotel just after 4 p.m. Monday.

They say combustible decorations left outside an apartment on the 15th floor of the hotel burned and smoked, and that activated sprinklers.

A tweet from Boise Fire Chief Dennis Doan says there is water damage on the 13th, 14th and 15th floors.
