KUNA -- Animal lovers raised a glass Sunday for a local non-profit group that promotes spaying and neutering pets.

The fundraiser, at Indian Creek Winery in Kuna, benefited Spay and Neuter Idaho Pets, Inc. (SNIP). Guests were treated to live music, a silent auction, as well as plenty of appetizers and, of course, wine.

We're doing the grape stomp at the Indian Creek Winery and it's all about stomping grapes to help stomp out pet over-population in Idaho, said SNIP President, Diane Ayers.

SNIP provides spaying and neutering service for pets owned by people who cannot afford the services and who financially quality for assistance. In the past four years, SNIP has helped fix over 2000 animals in the Treasure Valley.
