MURTAUGH, Idaho -- One man is dead and two more injured after a shooting south of Murtaugh Tuesday night.

Lori Stewart with the Twin Falls Sheriff's Office tells KTVB, deputies where responding to a report of a fight in the rural area when they got another call that shots had been fired. When deputies arrived on scene around 9 p.m., they found two men with gunshot wounds and a Chevrolet Suburban fully engulfed in flames.

Stewart say one man was airlifted to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center and died on the way. Another man was taken by ground ambulance to that hospital as well. Deputies later learned a third man transported himself to the hospital before they arrived on scene. Their condition is not know at this time, and their names have not been released.

Stewart says two of the men are related and lived in the area.

Firefighters put out the SUV fire. The cause is still under investigation.

No arrests have been made or charges filed. The sheriff's office, as well as Idaho State Police, are continuing to investigate.
