BOISE -- While the snow is falling in the mountains, there are flooding issues in the valley.

The Ada County Highway District received over 100 reports of flooding Thursday.

Five high-capacity vacuum trucks were contracted to help remove standing water on area roads.

All eight ACHD-owned vacuum and sweeper trucks and multiple hand crews continue to remove water, and free storm drains covered with debris or free frozen debris inside the system.

One of the worst hit areas is in southeast Boise in the area of Bergeson and Federal Way.

In an Eagle subdivision near Floating Feather Road, backed up water covered the street up to four feet deep in some areas. Crews have located the source of the clogged system and it continues to drain.
