BURLEY -- A 21-year-old Burley woman faces a DUI charge after she was found driving a crew cab pickup truck with a man's body in the back seat.

Minidoka County Sheriff Kevin Halverson says Kristin Hope Crull was taken into custody early Saturday after an officer stopped the truck while responding to a report of a possible drunken driver.

Halverson says Crull got out of the vehicle, covered in blood, and asked for help.

The body of 21-year-old Michael Kenneth Blair was found in the truck. He had been shot in the head.

Prosecutors charged 24-year-old Michael Jared Thompson of Burley with second-degree murder. Investigators say Thompson was driving home from a bar with Blair, Crull and another woman when Blair was shot. Thompson and the other woman fled.
