Thai Sesame Summer Side

8 servings
8 ounces dry whole grain linguine
2 cups shredded cabbage or store-bought pre-shredded
2 cups shredded carrots
1/2 cup sliced green onions
3 T sesame seeds
Homemade Dressing
4 T tahini (ground sesame seeds) + 3 T warm water
2 T lemon juice
1 T toasted sesame oil
1 t low sodium soy sauce
1 t honey
1 t fresh ginger, grated
1 t garlic, minced
sprinkling cayenne pepper

Cook pasta as the first salad component.

While it's boiling, whisk together dressing ingredients.

In a large bowl, add cooked pasta, cabbage, carrots, onions and sesame seeds and pour dressing over them.

Use tongs to evenly distribute the dressing.
