BOISE -- A Boise man has pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing child pornography.
Richard S. Macho, 30, of Boise, entered the plea in an Ada County courtroom Monday.
Macho was arrested in August and charged with five felonies after an investigation by the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children found illegal sexually exploitative materials on his computer.
He later posted $250,000 bond and was released from jail. That arrest came just a month after Macho was arrested on a felony charge of destruction of evidence. He posted $100,000 bond in July and was released. Richard is accused of helping his brother Gregory Macho alter the appearance of a pickup truck that was used in the attack on two women in parking lot of the Boise Towne Square Mall on May 14.
Gregory Macho pleaded guilty in October to four felonies in connection with the attacks and will be sentenced on Dec. 20.
Richard Macho will stand trial on the destruction of evidence charge next month.
Sentencing for the child porn case is set for Feb. 3. Prosecutors say Richard Macho faces up to 20 years in prison.
