BOISE -- An Oregon man has been arrested and charged with the rape of a 16-year-old girl at a Kuna home.

Authorities say Nicholas Longo, 20, of Brookings, Oregon was arrested in April and extradited to Idaho on Wednesday.

According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, Longo met the teen victim via the online site and asked her to meet at a party on March 24.

Sheriff's spokesperson Andrea Dearden said that's when Longo allegedly forced himself on the girl.

Dearden says Longo admitted to deputies that he had sex with the teen, but told them it was consensual.

However, the girl told deputies it was rape.

Under Idaho Code, no one under the age of 18 can give consent for sexual contact with an adult.

Dearden said shortly after the alleged rape, Longo moved to Oregon.

He was booked into the Ada County Jail just before midnight on Wednesday.
