BOISE -- The Star Fire District has two new commissioners.

Governor Otter appointed Ryan Henson and Stephen Donahue after the three previous commissioners, Gunnar Howarth, John Miller and Jeff Sedivec, resigned following news that the district is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.

Henson is a lawyer and business owner that has lived in Star since 2005.

Donahue is a United Airlines pilot and deputy chief of Caldwell Fire and Rescue. He was also the deputy chief of the Star Fire Department from 1999 to 2009.

Henson and Donahue will find someone to fill the third vacancy on the commission.
