How do both teams stack up this season?

After last week's 32-29 win over the New Mexico Lobos, the Broncos returned to the USA TODAY Coaches Poll in the last spot. However, Boise State did fall from Associated Press top 25 poll.

Many wonder whether this week's game against Southern Miss. will see the Broncos uphold their 11-year winning streak for games played in October.

Broncos Head Coach Chris Petersen said he expects the match-up to be a challenge for the Broncos.

Petersen also said despite the Golden Eagles' losing record, they could be one of the best 0-4 teams in the country.

They're schemes are really good and they've got some electrifying players, Petersen said during last Monday's news conference.
