PARMA -- The Parma Fire Department responded to a structure fire around 6:45 Friday night.

Crews from Middleton, Caldwell, Adrian, and Wilder also responded to the fire on Hatch Lane.

When crews got on scene, the house was fully involved and threatening the house next door.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading next door, the heat from the fire did melt the the siding of the house.

Since the house was in a rural area, water was limited and had to be trucked in.

No one was injured, and no one was living in the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
