A baby boy was found dead in a Hazelton home more than two weeks ago, but officials say it could be almost a month before they know what went wrong.

Jerome County Coroner Gerald Brant said the autopsy was finished in Ada County soon after the death. He still has to wait on toxicology results and findings from a Boise-based criminal pathologist before releasing a cause of death. That will take at least three more weeks, he said.

The infant, who was about ten days old when he died, was found in the home May 13. The Jerome County Sheriff's Office is investgating the death.

Sheriff's officials have declined to say whether they suspect foul play.
