BOISE Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that went on a destructive rampage in downtown Boise overnight.

Officers say the driver of a grey Ford F250 pickup was southbound on 8th Street, drifted west across the lane and struck several garden planters, trees, wrought-iron fencing, bike racks and a light pole.

The suspect then parked the truck on top of a garden planter and bike rack before fleeing the scene.

The incident happened at the corner of 8th and Main streets and was reported to police at 3:27 a.m. Friday.

The person driving the truck did not make any attempts to alert police.

Officers found the truck unoccupied and locked.

The investigation is ongoing.
