HUNTINGTON, Ore. -- A Baker City, Oregon man was injured after he reportedly fell asleep while driving on Interstate 84 and crashed into a metal highway sign.

The crash happened early Monday morning, just west of Huntington.

Oregon state police say 25-year-old Hector Yorres was cut from his car and taken to a Baker City hospital. Torres was also ticketed for the crash.

Pictures released by Oregon State Police show the car wrapped around the sign.
