BOISE -- On Saturday, Idahoans were a part of a live event, originating in California.

The issue reaches us all, human injustices.

Foothills Christian Church hosted the live simulcast event allowing local residents the full experience of The Justice Conference.

It's a two-day annual event that focuses on justice-related issues, such as human trafficking, slavery, poverty, HIV/AIDS, and human rights.

Its amazing to see all these people together who have a certain cause. No matter if you consider yourself religious or not, its amazing to have the idea that we can all see each other for one thing and that is helping people with injustice. said Sara Coutour, volunteer with the Birthright of Boise.

More than 12,000 people gathered Los Angeles and at other sites across the country, to focus on the idea and practice of justice.
