BOISE -- Overnight snow and rain caused several accidents and delays on area roads Friday morning.
A stretch of Interstate 84 between Boise and Mountain Home was blocked earlier Friday morning.
The interstate has since reopened, but drivers are still encouraged to use extra caution when driving due to icy roads and winter weather conditions.
The Idaho State Police, Ada County and Elmore County are investigating numerous crashes and slide offs in this area between mileposts 59 and 100. Several people were hurt in the crashes.
ITD tells us they have three sanders and a de-icing truck out on the road, and conditions are improving.
Our crew was at the scene of a rollover accident Friday morning near mile maker 66. At least one person was hurt and taken to the hospital.
So far, we're told none of the accidents involve major injuries, and most are single car crashes.
