BOISE, Idaho -- The 2009 winner of Mrs. Idaho America's condition has been upgraded after she suffered a head injury in a fall.

Elizabeth Duncan, the spokeswoman for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, said Sunday that Jamie Hilton's condition was upgraded from serious to stable.

According to a blog created by friends and family, Hilton somehow fell about 12-feet backward onto rocks in Hells Canyon. She was then flown by air ambulance to Boise, where she underwent emergency brain surgery.
