CALDWELL -- Police say three employees of a Caldwell smoke shop are in jail after officers raided the business and seized packets of suspected synthetic marijuana, often referred to as 'spice' or potpourri .

The raid happened Wednesday afternoon at the Smoke Effecx smoke shop on Kimball Avenue in Caldwell.

Owners Troy Harrel and Shannon McKean, along with employee Wesley Reed were arrested when police allegedly discovered 500 individual packets of synthetic marijuana at the business.

Officers also seized $25,000, and several other drug-related items.

All three suspects now face felony charges.
