TWIN FALLS -- A man's body was found Saturday afternoon in the Snake River near Centennial Park.

The Times-News reports that kayakers found the body near the power plant at Auger Falls.

Capt. Tim Miller of the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office says they've had no reports of missing people and that it appears the body has been there quite a while.

Sunday, a watch commander told KTVB that the county coroner was working to identify the body and cause of death. He also said the sheriff's office had sent out a statewide request for missing persons.

A sheriff's spokesperson says the body is a man who is about 5-foot-6 in height.
