BOISE -- A Boise man is jailed for aggravated DUI after police say he left the scene of an injury crash involving two pedestrians in downtown Boise late Friday night.

Joshua P. Hooker, 22, was booked into the Ada County jail early Saturday morning on two felony charges and for having an invalid driver's license.

Boise Police were called to an injury crash at 11:38 p.m. Friday at the intersection of W. Main Street and S. Capitol Boulevard. The crash involved a yellow Ford Mustang that had reportedly struck two pedestrians.

The driver of the Mustang drove away from the scene. One of the pedestrians was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

A few blocks away from the crash scene, officers on foot located Joshua Hooker, who was identified as the driver of the Mustang. He smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests.

After Hooker's arrest police found a baggie of marijuana in his possession.
