CALDWELL -- A former Notus city clerk who admitted stealing more than $60,000 in city funds, will spend 30 days in jail for her crime.

Canyon County officials tell us that 34-year-old Ginny LaTisha Lindemann has already repaid more than $62,000 in restitution to the city. She pleaded guilty to a felony charge of grand theft in April.

On Monday, 3rd District Judge Molly Huskey gave Lindemann a 10-year prison sentence, with two years fixed and eight years indeterminate. However, the judge suspended that sentence.

After Lindemann has served 30 days in jail, she will be on probation for eight years.
