BOISE -- Ada County Sheriff deputies arrested a Meridian man after he lost control of his pickup truck and hitting a power pole, which caused a grass fire and power outage on Black Cat Road near the Overland Road intersection, Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say 23-year-old Justin Espinola was arrested for DUI, after his blood alcohol level registered at a .26, which is more than three times the legal limit.
This is his second DUI this year, and third since 2009.
Deputies say Espinola was able to crawl out of his truck before it burst into flames. They also say Espinola was complaining that his ankle hurt, but seemed unhurt otherwise telling the paramedics he didn't need to go to the hospital.
He is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
