BOISE -- After being closed to paragliders last year, an area near Hammer Flat in East Boise is allowing flights once again.

For more than 30 years, pilots would launch from Crow's Gliding Hill

However, that came to a standstill in December of 2011 when the city sold the land to the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

IDFG and paragliders then reached a deal, and now paragliders can use it to fly between May 1st and November 15.
