NAMPA -- The Nampa School District submitted its federal consolidated plan to the Idaho State Department of Education.

Since November, the district has been working with the state to bring the district into compliance with federal requirements.

The board was notified that they would not get $645,000 in federal funds.

The issues occurred in August after the district announced it would shift costs like teacher salaries in order to free up general funds because of a major deficit.

Then the district can move forward with its 2013 plan so it could access its funds for the current school year.
