BOISE -- Football fans across the Treasure Valley remain vigilant as a new crop of local athletes seal the deal to play college ball.

That's the excitement of National Signing Day.

First, there's a number of local athletes who have signed to major universities, including BSU.

Second, Boise State Coach Chris Petersen presents his top picks for the 2013 Broncos.


Fruitland linebacker Joey Martarano has signed with Boise State, along with his best friend and teammate Alec Dhaenens, a tight end.

Rocky Mountain High School offensive lineman Eli McCullough has also signed with Boise State.

Capital High School Quarterback Makena Simis has signed his letter of intent to play for the University of Montana Grizzlies.

Other recruits from Rocky Mountain High include multisport athlete Adam Lewis who will play football and run track for Weber State, along with Jonah Williams who will also play football for Weber State.


The Boise State Football team has announced its 2013 recruiting class.
