NAMPA -- Nampa police are looking for three vehicles and the people inside involved in a shooting. It happened around 3 a.m. Saturday near Caldwell Boulevard and Yale Street.

Police say three cars were chasing and shooting at two people driving in a white Nissan car. Officers found bullet casings in the area of 6th Street North and East Barbara Street. They found more casings near the intersection of 4th Street North and Northside Boulevard.

Officers met up with the Nissan and its two passengers near Caldwell Boulevard and Yale Street. They found two bullet holes in the car, but no one was shot.

They do say that one of the two people in the car was beat up before the shooting, but at this point it's not clear whether the two are related.

Nampa Police continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information should call the Nampa Police Department at 465-2257 or Crimestoppers at 343-COPS.
