MERIDIAN -- A Meridian on-ramp has reopened after a semi-truck crash Friday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, the driver was navigating the circular eastbound on-ramp just before 1 p.m. when he lost control of the truck and it flipped onto its side.

The truck, which was hauling a load of pumpkins, was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Police tell us the driver, Colton Olson, 28, of Caldwell was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise with unknown injuries.

The ramp was closed for about three hours while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
