A youth hockey coach in Vancouver, BC is accused of purposely tripping a 13-year-old player, causing the boy to break his wrist.

In a video posted on YouTube, the coach identified as 40-year-old Martin Tremblay appears to intentionally put his leg out to trip the child during the traditional post-game handshake. Tremblay then points at the boy as he walks away.

Canada.com reports Tremblay s team had just won the game, 5-4, last Saturday.

One parent said the coach had been trash talking the player, who scored the opening goal. The parent said the player had flipped off the coach, but also appeared to be visibly upset on the bench.

Tremblay reportedly has been suspended from the league and Canadian Mounties are recommending an assault charge.
