BOISE -- Police say 51-year-old Christine A. Dillon of Caldwell is facing several drug charges for leaving methamphetamine residue and drug paraphernalia inside a car that was repossessed on Monday.

Authorities say an employee of a repossession business contacted Boise Police officers after finding the illegal materials inside a car that had just been repossessed in Canyon County and brought to a Boise lot.

Police say a routine vehicle check turned-up a purse that contained the suspect's identification plus three clear baggies, two of which contained crystals and a glass pipe with white residue inside.

Police then used a drug-sniffing dog to confirm the substance was likely methamphetamine.

Officers say they arrested Dillon when she came to retrieve her purse and other personal items from her vehicle. She was booked into the Ada County Jail.
