CALDWELL -- Former Canyon County Prosecutor John Bujak's estranged wife wants to separate her bankruptcy estate from his, the latest twist in the downfall of the southwestern Idaho Republican's political and personal fortunes.
Pepper Bujak claims in U.S. Bankruptcy Court filings that John Bujak attempted to conceal his Rolex watch from court scrutiny -- and even wanted her to lie about it to the U.S. trustee and bankruptcy trustee.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reported Tuesday that Bujak tried to stop Pepper from disclosing the watch.
She now plans to file updated records to include the asset.
Bujak resigned from his Canyon County post last year amid a dispute involving almost $300,000 the county says he owes.
He's since filed for bankruptcy protection and filed a $25 million tort claim against the county.
