TWIN FALLS -- Chobani will celebrate the completion of what the company calls the world's largest yogurt plant at an grand opening event Monday.
The one million square foot plant, which sits on 200 acres of land in Twin Falls, was built in under 11 months.
According to Chobani, $450 million was invested and over 2,000 Chobani employees and contractors put in over 1.7 million man hours to build the state-of-the-art facility.
Gov. Butch Otter is among the dignitaries expected to be on hand for the festivities.
The company says the plant will provide over 300 new jobs in the Twin Falls area.
