MERIDIAN -- A group of Idaho State Police recruits are undergoing an advanced training academy at the Idaho State Police headquarters in Meridian.

It's a 16-week program, and the first two weeks are often called stress academy.

The class going through the training right now has 17 recruits. Some of them will be ISP troopers while others already work for other police agencies around the state.

KTVB photojournalist Zach Stotland got an inside look at the rigorous training Monday evening. Click the play icon to check it out. To see it on the app, go to the video tab.
