PAYETTE COUNTY -- The Interstate 84 Fruitland offramp has reopened after a deadly motorcycle crash Monday morning.
According to the Payette County Sheriff's Office, a Washington state man crashed his motorcycle around 7:15 a.m. after losing control on the gravel shoulder as he was exiting the interstate.
Deputies say the driver, a 58-year-old man from Metaline Falls, Wash., was thrown from his 1993 Honda Shadow motorcycle and died of his injuries at the scene. They say he was wearing his helmet at the time.
The name of the driver is being witheld at this time until family is notified.
