BOISE -- A new chapter began Tuesday in the lives of two Boise Police K-9's, as drug detection dogs Vigo and KC enter retirement.

On Tuesday, the police department held a reception for the dogs who received a basket of goodies and a plaque commemorating their service.

KC gave one last drug detection demonstration to show she still knew the job.

One of the dog's handlers says he's already training a new dog.
