BOISE -- Boise Police arrested a man who they says robbed a credit union in downtown Boise Friday afternoon. Detectives believe he is the same man who robbed a U.S. Bank branch on Vista Avenue Thursday.
Police say that 31-year-old Jacob Dial of Boise was taken into custody at a fast food restaurant on Fairview Avenue Friday evening. No other details were available
Dial is charged with felony robbery. A warrant for his arrest was issued in connection with Thursday's bank robbery.
Friday's robbery happened at 2:35 p.m. the Idaho United Credit Union at 333 North 13th Street.
Witnesses told police that a scruffy-looking man entered the bank and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police identified the suspect as Jacob Dial, a white male, 31 years old, with scruffy facial hair and short blonde hair. He is about 5-foot-10 and weighs around 190 pounds. He was wearing dark blue jeans, an orange short-sleeve shirt and a blue and orange baseball cap during Friday's robbery.
During Thursday's robbery at U.S. Bank, the suspect could be seen wearing an Old Navy sweatshirt.
