CALDWELL, Idaho -- A 50-year-old Mexican citizen who has been living in southwestern Idaho is charged with sexual battery of a minor for an alleged relationship with a 16-year-old girl who delivered a stillborn child at a Nampa hospital last week.
Francisco Orozco-Perez was arraigned Thursday and his bail set at $1 million.
Prosecutors allege Orozco-Perez began a sexual relationship with the girl in Mexico, and that it continued after they illegally entered the United States in March. They eventually moved into a house in Wilder that belonged to a family member of the girl.
Court records say the girl became pregnant shortly after they entered the United States and they were living in Texas.
Orozco-Perez is wanted in Texas on three warrants including a 2001 warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child under sixteen.
