BOISE -- A Boise woman is facing charges after police say she rammed a person with her car during a fight.
Tanya Louise Ruelas, 33, reportedly got into an argument Wednesday evening at a home near Vista Avenue. As the fight escalated, the victim told police, Ruelas drove her car towards him, striking him and knocking him to the ground.
Police say the two knew each other.
When officers arrived, they found evidence the suspect had been drinking. They also found a marijuana pipe in Ruelas possession.
She was arrested and charged with aggravated battery as well as misdemeanors for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ruelas was booked into the Ada County Jail, and is scheduled for arraignment Thursday afternoon.
